Sourcing Advisory Industry Icon Announces SourcingBoard, LLC

HOUSTON, Dec. 9 / Warren Gallant, a recognized leader with the launching of the sourcing advisory industry and co-founder of TPI, Inc., today announced the formation of SourcingBoard, LLC. Citing the major changes within the sourcing marketplace over the past two decades, Mr. Gallant said that it was time to adjust the advisory services' offering to meet the demands and the capabilities of the well informed clients of today as well as the provider community. Said Gallant, "Most of today's clients have experience in procuring services, including procurement teams and established processes. When they seek assistance from an advisory firm, experience and knowledge base for a particular service is the primary requirement. Unfortunately, many of the existing firms continue to focus on past generations where the clients are less experienced and seek an advisor to provide a full cadre of support. They specialize in providing an experienced partner with a number of more junior people to perform all aspects of the services. These firms are very good at what they do, but I believe the new wave of clients demand experienced based advice rather than the traditional level of support which worked nicely for many years."
